Mothers Justice Show
Guest: Elaine Simons, Foster Mother of Jesse Sarey
Elaine is a survivor of police-sanctioned violence. She has tirelessly been on the front line since May 31st, 2019 when her foster son Jesse Sarey's life was taken from him by Officer Jeff Nelson of Auburn, WA.
Officer Jeff Nelson was arrested and charged for 2nd Degree Murder and 1st Degree Assault. He has been on paid administrative house arrest since August 2020.

This Saturday we will gather to stand in solidarity with the victims of this week’s shooting at a Buffalo, NY grocery store. We will say the names of the victims and hold a vigil for peace. We are lining up speakers and will announce them soon. Please, come in peace.

Three people suffered injuries that have been deemed non-life threatening. Two of them are no longer in the hospital:

Jennifer Warrington of Tonawanda, N.Y. – age 50 (treated and released from ECMC)

We are also observing all COVID guidelines from the county and city which require all patrons and customers 12-years of age and older, to provide proof of vaccination prior to entry to the establishment. As for masks, Washington state requires that everyone ages 5 and older, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks in indoor public settings like grocery, retail, theaters, and entertainment establishments, and at outdoor events with 500 or more people.
