MOTHERS FOR POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY STAND WITH AFRICATOWN COMMUNITY LAND TRUST

SEATTLE, WA — We stand firmly with the King County Equity Now coalition, including Africatown Community Land Trust, Creative Justice, No New Youth Jail, and others. We believe the work that Africatown has been doing in this community even before May 24, 2020 to provide housing, equity, and education for the Black community in the Central District is outstanding. We encourage the community to stand with Africatown and others as they continue this work.
